Petitioner: Antonio Lixhita, a Citizen of the Republic
Whereas Antonio Lixhita, a citizen of the Republic has been assigned to the Province of Florenciā, and
Whereas, the Constitution of Florenciā (
http://www.talossa.org/oldwitt/www.talossaonline.com/104.289.0.html ) forbids new citizens from voting for a term of three months during what is called a "settling period", and
Whereas Antonio Lixhita is not a new citizen, but a returning citizen, and
Whereas the Governor of Florenciā is unsure as to the standing and voting rights of a returning citizen vis-ą-vis the Constitution of Florenciā, and Florenciā lacks a court system, the petitioner requests:
That El Cort Īnalt, the High Court of the Republic, clarify the voting rights of Antonio Lixhita within the Province of Florenciā.
The petitioner points out that since the Constitution of Florenciā does not specifically address the voting rights of returning citizens, that the default position of the Federal Government, that is immediate voting rights to those returned to citizenship status as outlined in Chapter 5, Section 2, 4(e) of the Federal Code, should be applied in this case.
