This bill (http://witt12.talossa.org/index.php?topic=2679.0) was voted upon and passed overwhelmingly.  Unfortunately, the text specifies the convention opening and closing on 1 February of this year.

Happily, our President has put forth a much-better-written Executive Order (http://witt12.talossa.org/index.php?topic=2681.0), which was countersigned before our own bill was passed.  Given my bill has proven to be a crock at best, that is certainly fine with me.

As our own proposal has now been made redundant, I see no reason to worry on this matter any longer.  I find it interesting that though we have passed it, it will not be sent by me to the President for assent for reasons already evident, thereby forever leaving it in legal limbo.

If no-one has any objections, in legal limbo it shall forever remain at least for as long as I am Speaker.
